Safety, read this first
- Switch off the circuit at the consumer unit before you touch any wiring, and make sure nobody can switch it back on while you work. Never work on the lamp with the power on.
- This lamp is wired directly into the ceiling. In Sweden and Germany that is work for a qualified electrician, not a do it yourself job. Please have it installed by one.
- Check the lamp for transport damage before you install it. If anything is damaged or missing, do not install it, contact us.
- Do not exceed 60 W. Let the bulb cool before you touch it.
Part 1 · Build the shade, power off
1
Unscrew the retaining ring from the lamp holder and set it aside.
2
Slide the petal sheets onto the holder one at a time, through the hole in the centre of each sheet.
3
Turn each sheet as you add it so its petals sit in the gaps of the sheet below. When all sheets are on, refit the retaining ring and tighten it so the stack is held firmly.
4
Bend the petals gently outward by hand, working from the centre out, until the shade opens into its flower shape. The petals are meant to be shaped, they will hold their position.
5
Screw in an E27 bulb, maximum 60 W, and test the lamp before mounting it. If it does not light up, stop and contact us. We will send a replacement light source or lamp holder.
Part 2 · Mount the lamp, by a qualified electrician
6
Hook the suspension wires to the ceiling plate and adjust them so the shade hangs level.
7
Connect live and neutral from the ceiling supply to the matching terminals, one at a time, and wrap each connection with insulating tape.
